Along your tour, your river guide will point out the variety of wading birds and birds of prey that you will see. History of the local area and creeks will be discussed, as well as plenty of stories of fun river adventures.
Adventure Kayak Florida's half day guided tours are 2-3 hours in duration and are offered at one of several locations around Jacksonville each Sunday (also offered Tuesday through Saturday with a 4 -person minimum reservation). These short tours are a great way to be introduced to kayaking. Just book your tour online and then meet us at the launch site on the day of your reservation. On the day of your tour, your river guide will give you a brief lesson on the basics of kayaking. Assistance will be given when entering and exiting your kayak, and once on the water your guide will fine tune your paddling technique as needed.

You can expect frequent breaks to take pictures, have a drink or snack, and stretch your legs. The pace will be relaxed so you don't have to worry about tiring out or being left behind. Our primary goal is to be safe and HAVE FUN!
