St Johns River Expedition (16 days, 310 miles)

  Date Date selector Difficult
Rate $1,700.00 / person

4 hour drive required)

Paddle the entire
St. John's River, Florida's longest river and one of only 14 rivers designated an American Heritage River in the U.S.A. This 310 mile, 16 day adventure begins at Blue Cypress Lake, 30 miles west of Vero Beach, Fl, and concludes at the Atlantic Ocean in Mayport.

Expect wide open vistas, indian mounds, grazing cattle, lots of big alligators and wild boar on this adventure of a lifetime.

Prior paddling is experience required, as you will be expected to paddle 15-25 miles per day in open water.

This is a guided river expedition that will be followed by a support motor boat to carry supplies and evacuate anyone with a medical emergency. Your river guide is there to show you the way, ensure your safety, and provide assistance setting up and breaking camp. Most days, dinner will be Mountain House dehydrated camp food and lunch will be PB&J sandwiches or tuna & crackers. On several days, we will stop for lunch and/or dinner at a river-side restaurant.
